The IHDD is an organization developed to aid in the diagnosis and support of low-income families. They go so far as to help families cover costs of travel to their offices as well as covering costs of expensive testing, therapies, and family needs (meals, hotels, etc) during testing. Unfortunately, they are woefully underfunded and facing cuts due to massive reductions in support funding across the country. Luckily, there is an amazing endowment being built to help continuously fund this program!
